LIPOSUCTION AND BODY CONTOURING

Liposuction is a technique to remove fat deposits on hips, thighs, buttocks, abdomen, calves and under the chin. The surgeon makes a small incision of about 4-5 mm, just large enough to allow the insertion of a hollow tube called a cannula to break up the fat and suck it out.

Depending on the extent of the surgery, the procedure usually lasts 1 hour. Liposuction is most often performed under general anesthesia.  Some swelling and bruising will exist on the suctioned areas, but usually it will subside within a few weeks. Sutures are removed within a week of surgery. You may need to wear a corset-like garment continuously for two to four weeks to secure firm compression to the area to reduce swelling.

During the consultation, you will get more information what results you can expect, what are possible complications and factors determining the surgery price.

The doctor will also show before-and-after photographs of the treated patients.
